Santa evoked the spirit of fiesta at S.R.N.

All of that brings us to Christmas. The bells are ringing everywhere, and Santa’s on his way, there’s peace blanketing the snow-covered land, on this special Christmas Day.

Christmas is a state of mind when children cherish peace and goodwill. The real spirit of Christmas is to have mercy and faith and love. With this message S.R.N. International School witnessed the fun and frolic gala of children’s favourite mythical character Santa Clause. Students were free from the shackles of school uniform but majority of the students came in the attires of Santa, fairies, reindeers, Christ and Mother Mary. Chairman of the school Mr. Ravi Shankar Sharmaji and the Principal Ms Usha Sharma inaugurated the gala event by illuminating the lamp which symbolises the eternal enlightening hope of children to get a shower of gifts from Santa Clause.

It was a tremendous celebration on this Christmas and New Year occasion. The highlight of this celebration was Christmas Carnival. It was loaded with vivacious performances: Melodious Song, Scintillating Dance, Heart rendering Skit, and Cake cutting ceremony. The talents were showered by little toddlers of cutie pies, juniors and seniors

Programme started with the short theatrical biography of the saviour Jesus Christ and his benevolence which brimmed the ambience with love, compassion and humanism. Montessori students exhibited a tableau portraying the life span of the Son of the God. An inter class Dance Drama competition was systemized on the same occasion. Students showcased their groovy moves on English dancing numbers, in the group with entire class. On the one hand where western dances thrilled the students and on the other audience were turned emotional with the skit. Students came to the stage event wise and enjoyed the cake party. Later, they enjoyed the sumptuous lunch together.

Not only the students but the S.R.N. gurus also got nostalgic and reminisced their childhood days by dressing up as Santa and distributed the gifts and sweets on that special occasion of Christmas.

Principal of the school Ms.Usha Sharma appreciated the efforts of the students by congratulating them and wishing them Merry Christmas. She reminded the students the great life and works of the Christ and invoked that his path should be followed sincerely
